Old school workmanship was not a marketing line where Kay learned the trade. It was how her father worked, and it is how she works now, with modern Ceramic Pro protection on top.
Her story
From a 1970s body shop to modern protection
Kay has been around this trade her whole life. Here is the short version, with nothing padded.

Grew up around the shop
Kay's father was a mechanic and auto body professional whose career began around the late 1960s and early 1970s. She grew up around that work, and it shaped how she thinks vehicles should be treated.

Started at 14
At fourteen she started working alongside her father, learning bodywork the old way: patient, thorough and checked twice.

Red Seal at 21
She earned her Red Seal certification as an auto body technician at twenty-one, the trade's highest standard of qualification in Canada.

About a decade in collision repair
Roughly ten years of professional collision-repair and bodywork experience taught her how paint, clear coat and panels behave, and how much damage can be done by people who guess.

Twin Z Auto Customs
Kay founded Twin Z Auto Customs, which grew into The Auto Collective: a shop built around protection and restyling, with body-shop standards underneath.

Why this shop exists
She started it because customers told her the same story again and again: work they could not trust, and shops that went quiet after taking the keys. The Auto Collective is the answer to that.
How Kay works today
She oversees every vehicle, and often works on them herself
Kay reviews every enquiry personally, plans the work, and supervises the team that completes installations. She is often on the vehicle alongside them, and she is the one who checks the finished result before you pick it up. When you have a question during the job, you are talking to the person in charge of it.
