What is the difference between ceramic coating and Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

A ceramic coating is a cured layer that adds gloss and makes paint easier to clean, but it is not a physical barrier. PPF is film that absorbs rock chips and road debris. Many customers use film on the impact zones and coating on the rest of the vehicle.

Often, yes. New vehicles commonly arrive with swirls and light defects from transport prep and dealership washing. We inspect first and only correct what the paint actually needs.

Kay reviews every request personally. The quote is based on your vehicle, its condition, the services that make sense for how you drive, and the coverage you choose. No two vehicles get a copy-paste answer.

What should I send with my quote request?

The year, make and model of your vehicle, the services you are considering, and a few words about your goals or concerns. Photos of the vehicle are optional but help us give you a more useful first conversation.

Do you work on older vehicles?

Yes. Older paint sometimes needs correction before it can be protected, and sometimes needs bodywork first. Kay's auto body background means you get an honest assessment of what your vehicle actually needs.

I am comparing cheaper coating offers. Why the difference in price?

The price difference is mostly what happens before the product goes on: inspection, decontamination, correction and careful installation, plus aftercare and someone who answers the phone after the job is done. Product alone is the smallest part of a coating job. We are happy to explain exactly what you would be getting for your money.

Do you offer transportation while my vehicle is with you?

Yes, complimentary Uber transportation is available within the greater Edmonton area. Extended drop-off arrangements may also be possible for early mornings or weekends. Ask when you book.

Yes. You receive photos and progress updates while the work is under way, and Kay stays involved from your first enquiry through pickup day.
